Growing up, Elizabeth trained in Shotokan Karate and earned her 2nd degree black belt. She was fortunate enough to travel the world, competing nationally and internationally in the sport. Elizabeth continues to train in martial arts (albeit not as gracefully as in her youth) including Karate, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Elizabeth joined Ireton Fendley practicing criminal, family and civil litigation. She enjoys working closely with her clients to develop creative solutions to issues.
Katelyn completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa, with an Honours Specialization in Criminology. Prior to moving to Perth and joining Ireton Fendley Professional Corporation, Katelyn summered, articled, and was an associate at a leading regional law firm. She has experience at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and Divisional Court. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, Association of Family and Concilliation Courts, Frontenac Law Association, and County of Lanark Law Association.

One of the firm's co-founders, David had a general practice for a number of years before focusing on family law. He has now retired from the practice of law but remains a regular part of the office, offering family mediation services by appointment. Outside his mediation practice David teaches yoga at The Yoga Connection, ministers at Boyd's United Church and continues to compete in marathons and triathlons.
Prior to his retirement at the end of 2018, Peter specialized in real estate and estate planning and administration. A teacher at heart, he did his best to ensure clients understood the legal issues they faced and their options for moving forward. Now that he has retired he is able to devote his energy to the other love of his life: music. Peter continues in his role as organist at St. James Anglican Church and is happily mastering the foot pedals of the organ.

Julie’s calm, approachable and professional manner eases the personal strain felt by the firm’s clients who are working through family separation and divorce. Her favourite things include her two grown children, spending time with her husband at their trailer, and her fur-baby Murphy.
